With evolving regulations and increasing compliance requirements in China in 2026, businesses must stay informed to mitigate risks and ensure sustainable growth.
To support Benelux businesses and the wider Nordic community in China, FinnCham China is partnering with the Benelux Chamber of Commerce to roll out the 2026 Compliance Training Program, together with member firms DaWo Law Firm and Grant Thornton. In the coming months, FinnCham China and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, alongside other leading international Chambers of Commerce in China, will host three in-depth compliance training sessions led by seasoned experts Philippe Snel, Tim Klatte, Catherine Cheng, Audrey Fang, and Terina Nie.
In this session, Grant Thornton (GT) will take you inside the world of forensic interviews, exploring both strategy and practice. From the fundamentals of interview procedures to the challenges and best practices professionals encounter, GT will provide insights that are both practical and actionable. Expect real case sharing and a forward-looking discussion on how AI can transform forensic interviewing, opening new opportunities for investigation and compliance.
Bringing in the legal perspective, DaWo Law Firm will guide you through how to build a robust yet practical compliance framework. Learn about the importance of establishing a compliance system, discover the core components every framework should include, and uncover the common pitfalls and misconceptions companies face during implementation. Real-world case examples will highlight how a well-designed system can strengthen both compliance and corporate integrity.

Catherine Cheng is a senior associate. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in civil and commercial law from the East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai (China). She passed the China Bar examination in 2011. Before joining DaWo Law Firm, Catherine worked at a US law firm and at De Wolf Law Firm Shanghai.
Catherine focuses her practice on labor-related disputes, intellectual property and foreign direct investment. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin. She is also fluent in the Shanghai dialect.

Terina Nie is an associate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international economic law from the East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai (China) and a master’s degree in international trade and commercial law from the Durham University, in the UK. Terina passed the China Bar examination in 2018. Prior to joining DaWo Law Firm, Terina worked as legal intern for large Chinese law firms and for De Wolf Law Firm Shanghai.
Terina focuses on labor-related disputes and intellectual property. She is bilingual in Mandarin and English. She is also fluent in the Shanghai dialect.
