FinnCham China is pleased to invite you to an insightful presentation and discussion on the European Business in China Position Paper 2025/2026.
The European Business in China Position Paper (Position Paper) is the European Chamber's most important publication and the cornerstone of its annual advocacy plan.
The Position Paper 2025/2026 calls on Chinese policymakers to use the upcoming 15th Five-year Plan (15FYP) (2026–2030) to affect a shift towards a new, productive development model. The Executive Position Paper offers five overarching Key Recommendations to Chinese policymakers highlighting priority areas where, building on the achievements of the 14FYP, focused efforts can help China meet its development goals while remaining fully integrated in—and valued by—the global economic system. The individual industry and horizontal position papers provide more granular detail, putting forward more than 1,100 constructive recommendations for optimising China's business environment.

Founder and Managing Partner of D’Andrea & Partners Legal Counsel, and Founder of DP
Group.
Graduated in Law at the University of Teramo (Italy), he then subsequently obtained a Masters’
degree in Corporate Advisor at LUISS University in Rome and a Diploma in Chinese Studies at
Nanjing Normal University and is a member of the Italian Bar Associatton.
Mr. D’Andrea arrived in China in 2005 and is ffuent in Italian (mother tongue), English,
Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. He mainly deals with cross-border mergers and acquisittons,
assistance in ODI/FDI and intellectual property rights.
He is also acttng as Vice President of the European Chamber and Chair of the Shanghai Chapter.
Simon Lichtenberg
CEO, Trayton Group
Simon Lichtenberg, an international entrepreneur, established Trayton Group in Shanghai after completing his studies in Chinese language at Fudan University. He has built a successful business designing and manufacturing upholstered furniture in China distributing to retailers across the globe. Simon has received both the Silver and Gold "Magnolia Award" in recognition of his contributions to Shanghai’s development. Simon also serves on the DCCC Board of Directors and the EUCCC Executive Committee.
Anu Vuori
Consul General at Consulate General of Finland, Shanghai
Ms Anu Vuori is the Consul General of Finland in Shanghai since September2022.
Before her current position she servedas the Director of the Unit for LatinAmerica and the Caribbean. Her previous positions abroad were the Head of Administration of the Finnish Missions in Brussels and the Deputy Head of the Finnish Embassy in Mexico. Since entering the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1998, Ms Vuori has also served in the Finnish Embassies in London and in Rome and has experience from various tasks in the Ministry for Foreian Affairs in Helsinki.
Ms Vuori is a Licentiate and Master of Philosophy with a wide-ranging professional background in the field of International Relations. Her university background includes studies in Finland, France and Belgium. Before the career in the Foreian Service she hasworked as Coordinator of International Relations of the Ministry for Transport andCommunications and as Researcher in the University of Joensuu.
