The Embassy of Finland in Beijing, the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai, Finnish Universities, and Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences are hosting two events for Finnish higher education alumni attending in China, both in Beijing and Shanghai. It's a great opportunity for the HR department to meet graduates from Finnish Universities and share its insights with others.

• Opening Remarks by the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai (5 min)
• Current State of Finland-China Relations and the Role of Alumni: The Consulate General Communications and Country Image team presents the status of political, economic, educational, scientific, and cultural relations between the two countries, and discusses the role of alumni in promoting Finland's country image in China. (20 min)
• Business Environment and Opportunities in China: The Embassy Trade and Business Promotion team (formerly Business Finland) presents the operations of Finnish companies and the current outlook for business opportunities in China. (20 min)
• Panel Discussion: Featuring representatives from the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai, a representative from a Finnish company, and two alumni. The discussion will cover the state of commercial cooperation and other connections between Finland and China. Alumni will share how their connection to Finland impacts their work and lives. Includes a Q&A session with the audience. (60 min)
